In-Person Primavera Training
Construction Science offers in-person Primavera P6 classes for one, two or three days – at your location or one of our classrooms. Our P6 software training programs can be delivered at any time on short notice, including evenings and weekends*. No other P6 training programs are this flexible! In just 8 hours (P6 101) we can teach you how to create a new schedule with layouts and filters, update the schedule, and run baseline comparisons. This class covers the entire project life cycle in the Primavera P6 environment.
Need more instruction? Our very-intensive 2-day program (P6 102) adds advanced update techniques, schedule analysis, cost and resource-loading, and resource leveling skills. For individuals who are new to scheduling we offer an introduction to planning and the CPM method of scheduling, and a more in-depth look at Primavera P6 in our 3-day (P6 103) program. No software required: we provide training laptops with Primavera P6 for all classes in our Sacramento offices. There is an additional fee of $50/day for laptop rentals in other locations.
Meet the instructor: all of our in-person training programs were designed by Bill Pepoon, a master scheduler and Certified Primavera P6 Implementation Specialist with 34 years’ experience. He is one of the leading experts on CPM scheduling in the United States and has testified extensively on scheduling and delays. You will learn Primavera P6 based on practical knowledge of scheduling. We are not just trainers!
Training Locations: We offer classroom training in Sacramento every week. Group training is available anywhere else in the United States for a flat-fee that includes instructional time, training manuals, follow-up support, and our travel expenses. Need Primavera training right away? Our live online training provides immediate access to training and covers the same subject matters. These are very small classes that allow for many questions and answers.
Primavera Contractor Classes. We are the only Primavera training firm that offers regular classes for Primavera Contractor, which is a scaled-down version of Primavera P6 Professional. Primavera Contractor 101 is a beginner class equivalent to P6 101. We also offer more advanced training in Primavera Contractor for groups. Cancellation Policy. For private (individual or group) training sessions our cancellation policy is as follows: training cancelled one to two weeks prior to the scheduled date(s) will result in a 20% chargeback. Training cancelled less than one week prior to the scheduled date(s) will result in a 50% chargeback. These chargebacks will be waived for private training sessions held in our offices as long as training is rescheduled within 30 days.
